Sony has turned up the volume on its Indian audio lineup with the launch of its second-generation ULT Power Sound series. The new range includes two bass-heavy wireless party speakers, a pair of rugged portable Bluetooth models, and a wireless microphone; each designed to bring festival-grade sound to everything from living-room gatherings to open-air adventures. Here’s everything you need to know about Sony’s latest ULT audio lineup.
Party speakers that pack a punch
Sony’s second-generation ULT Power Sound series isn’t here to whisper politely, it’s here to rattle windows. Sony is positioning these speakers as the ultimate house party companion. The range’s headliners, the ULT Tower 9 and ULT Tower 9AC, bring two selectable bass modes (ULT1 for punchy thumps, ULT2 for full-on ground-shaking rumble), 360-degree Party Sound, and 360-degree Party Light.

They’re designed to roll with you, thanks to built-in handles, casters, and a water-resistant top panel. There’s even a power bank onboard to keep your phone alive through the afterparty.
And for those who believe in the “more the merrier” philosophy, Party Connect links up to 100 compatible speakers. Battery life is claimed at up to 25 hours, with quick charging to keep the beats flowing.
Portable sound for every scene
If you’d rather have speakers for your outdoor excursions than indoor parties, the ULT Field 5 and ULT Field 3 are the ones to consider. Both are IP67-rated against water, dust, and accidental drops, with a 10-band custom EQ and sound field optimisation that adapts to your surroundings.
The Field 5 boasts 25 hours of battery life, while the smaller Field 3 still manages 24 hours. Both can join the same 100-speaker Party Connect chain. So, yes, even your quiet sunset session could turn into a block party.
Rounding off the lineup, the ULT Mic 1 wireless microphone is made for karaoke die-hards, with 20 hours of battery life and a super-fast top-up. Just ten minutes of charging allows for two hours of singing.
