The Motorola Edge 60 series is all about performance and power

Motorola has taken the wraps off the new Edge 60 series globally. The series comprises the Edge 60 and the Edge 60 Pro phones, and both come with a large OLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, and a massive battery. Here’s everything you need to know.

Everything about the Motorola Edge 60 series

The all-new Edge 60 and the Edge 60 Pro feature the standard Motorola design. They have a 6.7-inch quad-curved pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has up to 4,500 nits peak brightness for a better sunlight legibility.

Both phones have MIL-STD-810H certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection for durability. They also have an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Further, the camera system is also the same for both. The duo sports a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP 3x telephoto sensor with up to 50x Super Zoom. There’s a 50MP snapper for selfies.

The major difference between the two is the chipset and battery. The Edge 60 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, whereas the Edge 60 Pro uses the Dimensity 8350 Extreme processor. As for the battery, the Edge 60 packs a 5,200mAh battery with 68W wired charging, whereas the Pro model houses a 6,000mAh cell with 90W wired and 15W wireless charging.
