The next iPhone SE was expected to launch at some point this year, but there was no clarification as to when. Well, a new report now indicates that we may see the phone as early as next week! Yes, you read that right. The next affordable iPhone may launch earlier than anticipated, and if you were waiting for it, its launch timeline isn’t the only good news for you.
The iPhone SE 2022 successor will reportedly also come with an improved design, including a larger screen, a new and powerful chip, and most notably, the Apple Intelligence suite. So, read on to know everything about the upcoming iPhone SE.

Right off the bat, let’s see the release timeline. According to a report from Bloomberg, the next iPhone SE will be release via a press release, and will not get a launch event. The device may go on sale a week later. All that means is that we could get our hands on the iPhone SE 2025 even before March, which was the reported timeline earlier.
Since we may see the device on a weekday, let’s get prepped up and look at some of the expected specifications and features of the upcoming iPhone SE.
Starting with the design, the smartphone is expected to boast an iPhone 14-like form factor and design. The device may feature a 6.1-inch OLED display without ProMotion support. So, the display will likely be a 60Hz panel. Also, it may still have a notch at the top.

Performance-wise, it is expected to be powered by Apple’s A18 chipset and may have 8GB of RAM, making it ready for Apple Intelligence. It should run iOS 18 out the box. As for the cameras, it may have a 48MP single rear camera and a 12MP front camera.
That’s all we know about the upcoming iPhone SE for now. As for the pricing, device is expected to come at a comparatively affordable price tag, and will be sold globally, including in India.
