Keeping cool this summer should be easy with this selection of top pedestal and standing fans you can buy in 2026. These powerful pedestal and standing fans have been selected for both home and office spaces and offer a combination of design and value for any setting.
Croma Tower Fan
As the name would suggest, this is a tower-shaped fan from Croma. Unlike a regular standing fan, the design is very sleek and so it occupies very little space. The fan retails at just Rs 2,499, comes with a 2-year warranty, and has three speed settings. At full power the fan will consume about 45W.

Philips 5000 series bladeless fan
This is another tower fan but one that’s a lot more powerful, and expensive. It uses a bladeless tower design to circulate air at a flow rate of 2,230 m3/hr, which is great for large rooms. It even has a natural wind mode so it doesn’t feel like you have a powerful fan in your room blowing things all over the place. This model retails at Rs 8,699 and comes with a 2-year warranty.

Portronics Aero Breeze Table Fan
The Portronics Aera Breeze is a stylish table fan with a 178 mm diameter and 3-blade design. It also uses a more efficient BLDC motor and is capable of 360-degree cooling. The fan spins at 3,000 rpm but consumes only 3W of power in operation. It has a rechargeable battery, which allows you to place the fan literally anywhere, including on the ceiling with the included mount, to enjoy cool breeze as you go about your business. The price is just Rs 999.
Croma AF2307 230 mm table fan
For a more powerful option, consider the Croma AF2307. This model retails at Rs 1,899 and uses AC power and boasts of a massive air flow rate of 1,500 m3/hr. That’s plenty for a small room. It also offers the usual oscillation function, silent operation, and of course a 2-year warranty. An excellent choice if you just want a reliable, no-nonsense table fan.
Crompton Torpedo 400mm pedestal fan
For Rs 2,999 you can pick up the Crompton Torpedo. Like the AF2307, this is a no-nonsense fan except that it’s in a pedestal configuration. At 400 mm, the blades are very large but that does mean that the fan consumes more power – about 125 W – in operation. That power has its advantages though, namely a 6,300 m3/hr flow rate that will take care of cooling in even large rooms. Few other fans can offer the same at this price.
It’s important to choose the right fan for your home or office. Pay attention to both placement and required flow rate as both will impact the kind of cooling you’ll be take advantage of. The options here cover a range of budgets and use-cases, but if even these aren’t enough, you can always head to the nearest Croma retail store and check out the options for yourself.
