Upcoming phones in August 2025 to watch out for

Similar to July, August is packed with a bunch of smartphone releases. Last month, we had big names like Samsung, Nothing, and OnePlus launching phones. In August, we have Google releasing its flagship Pixel lineup, Vivo launching its camera phone, and Redmi debuting its budget device.

If you are planning to get a new smartphone for yourself, you may want to stick around as we’ve listed all the top smartphones launching in August. So, read on.

Google Pixel 10 series

Starting with one of the biggest releases in early August, the Google Pixel 10. The launch is right around the corner, as it’s set to arrive on August 20. This time around, we are expected to see at least four models, including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

All models will get a new Tensor chipset and feature large screens. The Pros will also get an optical zoom camera of up to 5x. Expect OLED screens and a big battery. The series should likely boot with Android 16 out of the box.

Vivo V60

The Vivo V60 will launch on August 12. The V60 will be a camera phone in the mid-range segment. It is expected to come with triple cameras with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto sensor.

The smartphone may also feature an IP69 dust and water resistance rating, adding to its durability. It should house a large battery Vivo’s FlashCharge support.

Vivo Y400 5G

Vivo will also launch a budget phone in early August in India. The Vivo Y400 5G is arriving on August 4, and is expected to be priced at around Rs 20,000. It is expected to get a large 120Hz refresh rate, a Dimensity 7300 chipset, and a 50MP main camera.

Expect a large battery and fast charging support. It should also likely boot on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. You may get two special colour options to choose from, like the Olive Green and Glam White.

Oppo K13 Turbo

Oppo is also launching a new phone series in August. The Oppo K13 Turbo and Turbo Pro will be phones for gamers. They are expected to be powered by a mix of Snapdragon and Dimensity chipsets and house a massive 7,000mAh battery.

There’s not much known about the K13 Turbo series, but expect it to be available in the mid-range segment.

Redmi 15C

Redmi is launching a new phone in the budget segment on August 9. Dubbed the Redmi 15C, the smartphone should arrive in mid-August. It is expected to get a large 6.9-inch 120Hz LCD display, a Dimensity Helio chipset, and a 50MP camera. It is expected to launch for under Rs 15,000.
