Vivo has launched a new smartphone in the V-series. The all-new Vivo V50e comes with a premium design, including a quad-curved screen and a high-resolution front camera. Some of its other highlights include a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 4nm processor and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

What’s special about the Vivo V50e?
The Vivo V50e borrows the design from other V50 phones. It has a premium glass back with a textured finish. It comes in Sapphire Blue colour, which exudes a jewel-like luster, whereas the Pearl White colour offers a flowing water effect that shifts with light, resembling pearls.
The device features a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2392 x 1080 pixels. It has HDR10+ support and Diamond Shield Glass protection. The screen has 120Hz refresh rate support for smooth scrolling.
One of the highlights of the phone is its cameras. It boasts a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS support. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera setup is assisted by the Aura light for better images in low-light. Upfront, the device has a 50MP camera for selfies.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDRR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. As for the battery, the device packs a 5,600mAh cell with 90W fast charging support.

Other features of the phone include an in-display fingerprint scanner for security and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It boots on Android 15-based FunTouchOS 15. The device ships with a bunch of AI features. This includes AI Image Expander, AI Transcript Assist, Live Call Translation, AI Note Assist, AI Screen Translation, AI SuperLink, AI Eraser 2.0, and Circle to Search.
Vivo V50e price and availability
The Vivo V50e is priced at Rs 28,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 30,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The device will go on sale from April 17 on the Vivo website and partner retail stores across India.
In the same price range, you can also check out the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro and the OnePlus Nord 4. Both come with a good set of cameras and a premium design.
