Vivo is back with another foldable in India. Dubbed the Vivo X Fold 5, the book-style foldable comes with a slim and light design. Some of its highlights include LTPO AMOLED screens, a Snapdragon chipset, and a large 6,000mAh battery. Here’s everything you need to know.

Vivo X Fold 5 key features, price, and availability

The Vivo X Fold 5 features a lightweight body, coming in at 217 grams, down from its predecessor’s 236 grams of weight. It’s also quite slim, featuring 4.3mm thickness when unfolded and 9.2mm thickness when folded.

The device packs a metal-embedded carbon fibre hinge, making it sturdy. It also has a slightly curved frame for aesthetics. It sports an 8.03-inch 2K+ primary display, which is an LTPO AMOLED panel for variable refresh rate. It supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.

When folded, you get a 6.53-inch secondary display, which is again an LTPO AMOLED screen with the same refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution.

Powering the device is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device packs a larger 6,000mAh battery, up from 5,700mAh inside the predecessor. It also supports 80W wired and 40W wireless fast charging.
