Xiaomi has announced a new smartphone in China. The Xiaomi 15S Pro is a premium device that joins the other Xiaomi 15 series phones. But unlike them, the 15S Pro uses Xiaomi’s very own chipset – the XRING 01. It also has a large battery and a fast display for gaming and smooth scrolling. Here’s everything you need to know.
Everything about the Xiaomi 15S Pro
The all-new Xiaomi 15S Pro features a design unlike any Xiaomi 15 models. It goes for a more aggressive approach by rocking a square-shaped camera island.
It has a flat screen, measuring 6.73 inches. It’s an M9 OLED panel that boasts a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for gaming and smooth scrolling.
One of the key highlights of the device is its performance. The device draws power from the newly launched XRING 01 chipset. For those unaware, it’s Xiaomi’s proprietary chipset that’s based on a 3nm node.
The device has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. It packs a large 6,100mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
As for the optics, it has a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP Leica ultra-wide unit, and a 50MP Sony telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom and 10x lossless zoom support.
The smartphone has an in-display fingerprint scanner and all the latest connectivity options. This includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS. Lastly, the phone boots on Android 15 and has HyperOS 2.0 on top.

With Dragon Scale Fiber and Far Sky colour options, the device is already up for sale in China. It’s unclear if Xiaomi will launch the phone here in India.
