We’re hunting for the true two-day smartphone. It’s a hot new trend, especially now that silicon-carbon tech lets manufacturers cram super-dense cells into surprisingly slim bodies.
Our methodology is simple. We’re picking phones that hit the 7,000mAh mark. This capacity basically gives you 3,500mAh per day, which should comfortably get any light-to-medium user through 48 hours. We’ve rounded up all recently launched/upcoming handsets that meet this criteria.
1. iQOO 15
Kicking things off is the upcoming iQOO 15, set to land in India this November. This thing runs the brand-new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The phone’s 6.85-inch 2K 144Hz LTPO screen is a standout, using new 2K LEAD OLED tech to hit a blinding 6000 nits peak brightness. It’s built for gaming with a separate Q3 chip and a gigantic 8000mm VC for cooling.
The camera setup is no slouch with three 50MP sensors (main, ultrawide, and periscope). Its 7000mAh Blue Ocean battery uses cutting-edge semi-solid-state tech and juices up with 100W wired or 40W wireless charging. Prices are expected to start at Rs. 51,780 (approx).
2. OnePlus 15
Also launching in mid-November is possibly India’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phone, the OnePlus 15.
This flagship is pushing a 6.78-inch 1.5K screen to a wild 165Hz refresh rate. It’s packing a new Glacier Cooling System and a dedicated G2 gaming network chip to reduce latency.
This phone is built to survive anything with an IP69K rating. The 7300mAh “Glacier Battery” is the biggest on this list and supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. Camera-wise, you get a triple 50MP setup with a 3.5x periscope. Prices start at Rs. 49,540 (approx).
3. Vivo V60e
The brand new Vivo V60e just hit stores. Now, this one is technically 6500mAh, but it’s so close and crams that cell into a 7.49mm body, so it earns a spot.
Its main trick (besides the battery) is the bonkers 200MP Samsung HP9 main camera with OIS, plus a 50MP front camera with eye autofocus and Vivo’s signature Aura Light.
The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset and is built tough with an IP69 rating and Diamond Shield Glass. The 6500mAh battery still charges plenty fast at 90W.
4. Redmi 15 5G
Xiaomi’s entry from late August is the Redmi 15 5G. Its claim to fame is a massive 6.9-inch 144Hz LCD screen, which the company calls the largest in its segment.
It’s powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 and features a 50MP main camera. Of course, the 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery is the main event, engineered for 1600 charge cycles to retain 80% capacity even after four years.
It’s not the fastest charger at 33W, but it does support 18W reverse wired charging to power up your other gadgets. It also has a unique aerospace-grade metal camera island.
5. Poco M7 Plus 5G
The Poco M7 Plus 5G shares a lot of that core DNA as the Redmi above. It’s packing the same 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 33W charging and 18W reverse charging.
The phone also rocks a huge 6.9-inch 144Hz LCD and the same Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor.
You’ll find a 50MP main camera, a handy IR blaster for controlling your telly, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Prices currently start at Rs. 10,999.
6. OnePlus Nord 5
This summer’s big mid-ranger was the OnePlus Nord 5. It’s another “close enough” entry with a massive 6800mAh battery, but it makes up for the 200mAh deficit with speedy 80W SuperVOOC charging.
This phone punches up with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and a gorgeous 6.83-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED screen. It’s also a bit of a gamer with a huge 7,300 mm² cooling system.
Uniquely, it sports a 50MP sensor for both its main rear camera and its front selfie cam. It also swapped the classic alert slider for a new customisable “Plus Key”.
7. Realme GT 7 series
Back in May, Realme dropped this powerhouse. The GT 7 packs a 7000mAh battery and pairs it with blazing 120W charging, promising a full 100% top-up in just 40 minutes.
It was one of the first phones with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. Its 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display can hit a scorching 6000 nits peak brightness.
The camera array is versatile, featuring a 50MP Sony main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens. It’s also ridiculously durable with an IP69 rating. A special Aston Martin “Dream Edition” followed in June.
8. Realme 15T 5G
The Realme 15T’s whole identity is being unbelievably thin and light despite its battery. It packs a 7000mAh cell into a chassis that is only 7.79mm thick and weighs 181g.
It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max and has a bright 6.57-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen. The phone’s most surprising feature is the triple IP66/68/69 rating, making it ready for dust, immersion, and even hot water jets.
It also joins the 50MP front camera club, matching its 50MP rear sensor. The battery charges at a respectable 60W and supports 10W reverse charging.
9. Oppo K13 5G
Finally, we have the Oppo K13 5G. Its 7000mAh graphite battery is paired with 80W SuperVOOC charging, but its real party trick is longevity.
Oppo claims the battery will retain over 80% of its capacity even after five years of use. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and features a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen.
It also boasts a special AI LinkBoost 2.0 antenna system, designed to hold a signal in tough spots like basements or elevators. It’s IP65 rated and has a 50MP main camera.
