Anker’s sub-brand Nebula is shaking things up with the launch of its latest smart projector – the Nebula X1. This isn’t just another backyard movie-night gadget. The Nebula X1 is a powerhouse that blends style, substance, and smarts… and yes, it even comes with liquid cooling.

A step up from the brand’s popular Cosmos series, the Nebula X1 is an outdoor-ready 4K projector that pushes the boundaries of what portable projection tech can do. With a motorised gimbal-mounted lens, AI-assisted image setup, and that headline-grabbing liquid cooling system, the X1 is designed for people who take their home entertainment seriously – indoors or out.
Anker Nebula X1: Packed with power, precision, and portability
Anker calls the Nebula X1 their most advanced projector to date; and the numbers back it up. The X1 boasts a 3,500 ANSI lumen triple laser engine that’s capable of throwing out stunning 4K visuals on screens up to 300 inches wide. That’s home theatre meets drive-in cinema.
Image quality is another standout. With the brand’s NebulaMaster technology, you get a crisp 5,000:1 native contrast ratio and a 56,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

And because sound matters too, the X1 features four side-firing speakers pushing out 40W of audio. If you want to take things up a notch, an optional accessory kit adds a pair of wireless speakers that pair with the projector to create an immersive 4.1.2 channel audio setup. Bonus: the built-in speakers can double up as subwoofers when you do.
The motorised lens can tilt up to 25 degrees, making it super easy to project from a table, wall or floor. And thanks to AI-powered auto-focus, auto keystone correction, optical zoom and screen fit, your picture is always spot-on without the hassle. It’s portable, too, complete with a carry handle.
Anker Nebula X1: Streaming, smarts, and (quiet) cooling
The Nebula X1 runs Google TV, giving you access to all the big-name streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and more, right out of the box. No need to hook up anything extra, it’s all built-in.
And yes, let’s talk about the liquid cooling system again. It’s not just for show. The cooling system keeps things silent and stable, keeping fan noise to just 26dB (from 1m away). So, your movie night won’t be ruined by a noisy projector humming away in the background.
Anker Nebula X1: Price and availability
The Anker Nebula X1 will go on sale in the US and UK starting May 21, priced at $2,199.99 / £2,199.99 (roughly Rs 1,88,234).
For those who want the full experience, the accessory bundle, which includes two wireless speakers, a carry case, and two wireless microphones (karaoke fans, take note), will be available for $999.99 (approximately Rs 85,514). There’s no word on the India launch date, but you can check out the Anker Nebula Apollo Pocket Size Projector in the meantime.
