The M5 MacBook Pro comes in Space Black and Silver, with three configurations: 16GB RAM and 512GB storage at Rs 1,69,900, 16GB RAM and 1TB storage at Rs 1,89,900, and 24GB RAM with 1TB storage at Rs 2,09,900.

The biggest upgrade on the MacBook Pro is the inclusion of the all-new M5 chip, which offers up to 3.5 times faster AI performance than the M4. This is because the chip includes a new generation of a 10-core GPU paired with a Neural Accelerator in each core, along with a 16-core Neural Engine.
The new MacBook Pro comes with a 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, offering up to 1,600 nits of peak HDR brightness. It also comes in a nano-texture option, which minimises glare and reflections. For video calls, it features a 12MP Centre Stage camera.
Apple claims that the M5 MacBook Pro can last up to 24 hours on a single charge, which is a significant upgrade. It comes with up to 24GB of unified memory, configurable up to 32GB, and up to 1TB of SSD storage, configurable up to 1TB.
The M5 MacBook Pro runs on the latest macOS Tahoe, which integrates Apple Intelligence into the Phone app, Messages, FaceTime, Live Translation, Shortcuts, and more, leveraging the M5’s Neural Engine for on-device generative AI capabilities.

For audiophiles, the MacBook Pro with M5 offers a six-speaker setup with support for Spatial Audio. In terms of connectivity and ports, the new MacBook Pro features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, 3 x Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports, an HDMI port, an SDXC card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a MagSafe port for charging.

Pre-orders for the M5 MacBook Pro are live across 31 countries, including India. Shipments will begin on October 22.
