Apple Intelligence began rolling out from October last year, and some of its features are now available to all compatible iPhones, including the latest iPhone 16 lineup. However, Apple’s first and only MR headset, the Apple Vision Pro, is yet to get the Apple Intelligence suite, which may seem bonkers given how expensive it is!
But that’s about to change, as the headset may reportedly get Apple Intelligence in the next few months. Here’s everything you need to know about the availability of Apple Intelligence on the Vision Pro headset.
Apple Intelligence is finally coming to the Vision Pro headset
According to Bloomberg, Apple is planning to add Apple Intelligence to its Vision Pro headset. The Apple Intelligence suite on the Apple Vision Pro is expected to enhance the productivity of the users.
Apple Intelligence on the Vision Pro will have features like Writing Tools, Genmojis, and the Image Playground app. Notably, all these features are already available on compatible iPhones, iPads, and Mac devices.
It’s worth noting that the Vision Pro headset has 16GB of RAM and an M2 chipset, which makes it eligible for on-device processing. So, Apple Intelligence on the Vision Pro headset should run as smoothly as it does on other Apple devices.
Alongside Apple Intelligence, Apple is also planning to bring an updated mode for guest users and a dedicated spatial content app. The latter will allow users to browse and watch all the spatial content in one place.

The Apple Intelligence, an updated guest mode, and a spatial content app are expected to be a part of the visionOS 2.4 update. The visionOS 2.4 update will reportedly arrive in April, which, fortunately, isn’t too far away.
Apple’s move of introducing Apple Intelligence to the Vision Pro headset was much-anticipated, as Google recently announced Gemini AI integration for the Android XR operating system. For those unaware, the latter is Google’s own mixed-reality operating system.
If you own the Apple Vision Pro headset or any other mixed-reality headset, do you think adding AI features will boost your productivity? Do let us know in the comments below.
