Apple has finally introduced the long-rumoured entry-level MacBook across the globe, including India. Dubbed the MacBook Neo, the lowest-priced MacBook is a compact model equipped with a 13-inch display that promises a long battery life of up to 16 hours. Here is a look at the pricing of all its variants if you are considering purchasing it.
Apple MacBook Neo price in India
The Apple MacBook Neo has arrived in 256GB and 512GB variants. Both variants pack the same specifications, but they mainly differ in one department. While both come with the Magic Keyboard, only the 512GB variant also offers Touch ID.
Coming to the pricing, the 256GB and 512GB MacBook Neo variants are priced at Rs 69,900 and Rs 84,900, respectively. Buyers can choose from colour options such as Silver, Blush, Citrus, and Indigo.
Since students are one of the target users of the MacBook Neo, Apple is offering the 256GB and 512GB variants for as low as Rs 59,900 and Rs 69,900, respectively. It is now up for pre-orders and is scheduled to go on sale starting March 11.
MacBook Neo: What’s interesting about it?
The most interesting aspect of the MacBook Neo is that it brings Apple’s Mac experience to a much lower price point. Starting at Rs 69,990, it is positioned as an accessible entry into the Mac ecosystem for students, families, and first-time Mac users.
Despite being an entry-level model, it still includes a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with vibrant colours and up to 500 nits brightness, which is usually seen on higher-end Apple laptops.
Another notable highlight is the use of the A18 Pro chip, a processor originally designed for the iPhone 16 Pro lineup. Its presence allows the MacBook Neo to run everyday tasks efficiently while also supporting AI-powered features through the 16-core Neural Engine.
Combined with a fanless aluminium design and up to 16 hours of battery life, the MacBook Neo focuses on portability and long-lasting everyday use.
