ASUS has expanded its AI PC push in India with the launch of the ASUS Zenbook S16, ASUS Zenbook 14, and a refreshed Vivobook lineup, all powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI 400 Series processors. After opening pre-bookings last week, the company has now confirmed pan-India retail availability.
Across the board, these laptops pack AMD’s Ryzen AI 400 chips with integrated neural processing units capable of up to 50 TOPS of AI compute. In plain terms, that means more AI tasks handled locally, from Copilot+ features to background effects and productivity tools, without leaning heavily on cloud processing. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest ASUS AI PCs.
Zenbook keeps it slim and premium
The ASUS Zenbook S16 is really the headline act. It runs on the Ryzen AI 9 465 processor and is housed in a 1.1cm all-metal chassis weighing 1.5kg. ASUS continues to use its Ceraluminum material, which gives the machine a ceramic-like finish while keeping the build light and rigid.
The display is a 16-inch 3K Lumina OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. Audio comes via a six-speaker Dolby Atmos setup. ASUS rates battery life at up to 23 hours, and the laptop includes Microsoft Pluton security along with fast charging and modern connectivity.

Now, the Zenbook 14 trims things down further. Powered by the Ryzen AI 5 430 processor, it weighs merely 1.28kg and features a 14-inch FHD+ OLED touchscreen. ASUS claims over 25 hours of battery life. There is a dedicated Copilot key for quick AI access, and the NumberPad 2.0 is integrated into the touchpad.
Vivobook brings AI to the mainstream
ASUS is also pushing Ryzen AI hardware deeper into its mid-range portfolio. To that end, the ASUS Vivobook S16 is aimed at productivity users who want a larger display without moving into flagship pricing. It adds MIL-STD 810H durability certification, making it a practical option for students and everyday office use.
More affordable options include the ASUS Vivobook 15 and ASUS Vivobook 16, both designed to extend AI-capable processors to entry and mid-range buyers. The strategy is straightforward; even at lower price points, users now get access to a dedicated NPU rather than relying solely on CPU or GPU power.
