BenQ has launched a new smart projector in India that can project a 120-inch screen at your home. The latest BenQ GV50 projector runs Google TV OS and has a built-in speaker with Dolby Atmos, making it an all-in-one entertainment device. Sounds good? Everything you need to know about the BenQ GV50
The BenQ GV50 is a smart laser projector that features a portable form factor. It comes with intelligent screen adaptation technology that enables auto 2D keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, and autofocus.
The smart projector can project a 120-inch screen that has an FHD resolution. It has 500 ANSI lumens and is advertised to offer up to 30,000 hours of laser light source life. It supports BenQ’s CinematicColor and CinematicSound technologies for a richer output.
Further, the smart projector supports HDR10/HLG formats and has Rec. 709 colour precision. It packs an integragted battery that can provide up to 150 minutes of video playtime and 280 minutes of Bluetooth music playback.
The smart projector also supports projection at multiple angles, including omnidirectional angle, two-stage tilt, digital zoom, and digital H/V lens shift.

BenQ has also added a speaker inside, which is an 18W 2.1 channel speaker with Dolby Atmos support. The projector runs Google TV OS and has Netflix support. Users can control the projector via the SmartRemote app available for Android phones and iPhones.
Coming to the pricing, the BenQ GV50 costs Rs 69,990, and it can be pre-ordered starting April 22 via the BenQ e-store. In the same price range or lower, you can also check out the Anker Nebula Apollo Pocket and Portronics Pico 11 Ultra. Both are slightly cheaper and come with a portable design and support high-resolution screen projection.
