Gaming is a thrill that many of us are unlikely to ever get tired of. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or someone itching to get started, you need a laptop that’s both powerful enough for the games you want to play and feature-packed enough to be a joy to play on.

Bearing in mind that RAM and storage prices have shot through the roof, limiting options in the entry-level market, here are the best gaming laptops under Rs 70,000 that you can buy today.
HP Victus 15
The Victus 15 isn’t particularly powerful owing to the fact that it’s equipped with only an RTX 2050 GPU. However, the laptop does come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, Ryzen 7 power, and more importantly, it has enough power for a lot of modern esports titles like Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant.

Thanks to features like DLSS upscaling, the laptop will also handle many newer titles if you don’t mind dropping settings. The laptop comes with Windows 11 Home and a 300-nit FHD display. The keyboard is full size and backlit and even includes a numpad.
Lenovo LOQ 15
If you don’t mind opting for a slower CPU and less RAM, the LOQ 15 is another great option under Rs 70,000. The laptop features an upgraded GPU in the form of the RTX 3050A but a slower Ryzen 5 processor and 12GB of RAM.

The 3050A features newer tensor cores and a newer architecture, allowing it to take a small lead over the 2050 in many games. The slower processor and lower RAM, however, can impact multitasking and general productivity. So, choose wisely.
Acer Nitro Lite
Spending a smidge over Rs 70,000 gets you the Acer Nitro Lite with an Intel Core i7 13620H, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. The GPU is a 6GB RTX 3050 so you’re covered on the performance front.

We like that the laptop comes with a larger 16-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate, and also its white colour option. This one is a good all-rounder that you’ll be as comfortable taking into a meeting as you will for gaming.
Asus TUF F16
Asus has a long history of making great gaming laptops and peripherals, which makes it a great choice for a budget gaming laptop. The TUF F16 is the one we’re recommend here because it comes with all the essentials.
ASUS TUF F16 Intel Core 5 210H Gaming Laptop (16GB, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Home, 4GB Graphics, 16 inch 144 Hz Full HD Plus Display, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050A, Mecha Gray, 2.2 KG)

This includes an RTX 3050A, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and a fast, 16-inch display. Its styling is also more mature and subtle, the display supports G-Sync for better visuals, and powerful cooling keeps the internals cool when gaming.
Apple MacBook Neo
You might think us mad for recommending a MacBook but hear us out. The Neo, Apple’s newest MacBook, is powered by an iPhone chip but somehow runs even demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 at 30-40 FPS.
If that game can run, you know that most other games will as well. Better yet, services like Apple Arcade and compatibility with iPad games means that tens of thousands of games are available for the asking.
At the same time the device offers fantastic battery life, an excellent display (but only 60Hz) and completely silent operation. We know it’s not a traditional gaming laptop, but for a kid who’s just starting out in school this laptop has plenty of power for many of the games they may want to play.
That’s it for our list. The AI boom has left gamers in the lurch but it’s still heartening to see some entry-level gaming laptops available today at reasonable prices. Sure, performance isn’t the best, but there’s plenty of it for a vast and fantastic library of indie gems, not to mention support for older but still fantastic games.
