Speaking of Spotlight, it’s smarter now, as you can find exactly what you are looking for, including a PDF file or a particular setting.

Phone App on Mac

The Phone app, which is available on iPhones and iPads, is now also available on Macs with macOS 26. With a dedicated Phone app, users can answer calls, check voicemails, and record transcripts directly on their Mac. This adds to Apple’s push for continuity.

A dedicated Games app on Mac

Apple announced a new app called ‘Games’, and it brings Apple Arcade and the entire game library under one roof. This app is available across Apple devices, including Macs, so you no longer have to visit the App Store for your gaming needs.

New Apple Intelligence features

Apple also announced new Apple Intelligence features, and they are also coming to your Mac with macOS 26.
