BoAt Wave Fortune smartwatch offers NFC-backed one-tap payments

Imagine this. You are at a fancy café, done having your matcha, and it’s time to pay. Instead of bringing your smartphone into the scene, you simply pull up your sleeve and bring your smartwatch closer to the card machine, and boom, you just made the payment. How cool would that be?

Well, BoAt’s latest wearable lets you do exactly that. The all-new BoAt Wave Fortune smartwatch is a sleek and comfortable smartwatch that boasts one-tap payments, thanks to NFC. Additionally, it also lets you receive and make calls, plus takes care of your health. Sounds good? Here’s everything you need to know about the BoAt Wave Fortune.

BoAt Wave Fortune key features, price, and availability

The BoAt Wave Fortune isn’t your average smartwatch; rather, it’s an all-in-one solution right on your wrist. Starting with the Tap and Pay support, thanks to NFC. Owing to this feature, which BoAt calls BoAt Pay, you can forget your wallet and not fret about it. Just a single tap to make payments.

For this functionality, BoAt has partnered with Axis Bank. Interestingly, it uses Tappy’s Tokenisation technology, letting users link their Axis Bank Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards.

The smartwatch also has Bluetooth calling, which lets you make and receive calls, as it has a microphone and speaker built-in. The smartwatch also has a slew of health and fitness features. This includes 700 activity modes and both heart and sleep monitoring.

That’s not it. The smartwatch features a 1.96-inch HD touchscreen with a crisp resolution and high brightness, meaning outdoor usage won’t be an issue. One of its noteworthy features is the DIY Watch Face Studio, which lets you customise the home screen with your own images.
