Nothing has begun pushing out its latest software update – OS V3.2-250715-1813 – for the CMF Phone 2 Pro, its value-focused device that’s been turning heads since launch. The update is being released in waves, so if you haven’t received it yet, hold tight. The phased rollout helps Nothing monitor feedback and fine-tune stability as the update lands across more devices. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest update to the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
CMF Phone 2 Pro gets a new software update
At the heart of this update is a noticeable leap in camera performance. If you’ve been spotting a strange purple tint in your backlit portrait shots, or if indoor portraits looked a little off with a cyan-heavy colour cast, those are now a thing of the past. Nothing has corrected these quirks, along with refining dark blue tone reproduction in outdoor shots. Brightness and contrast have also been tuned to deliver more natural-looking results in daylight conditions.
Beyond the camera, the OS V3.2 update squashes a handful of annoying bugs. Delayed app notifications? Gone. Screen glitches during screenshots? Fixed. NFC hiccups? Resolved.
There’s even a niche but nagging issue sorted out where the Instagram heart icon now appears correctly when using the Inter font. Add to that a round of under-the-hood tweaks that enhance overall system stability, and this update feels less like a patch and more like a proper polish.

Another thing to note; if your phone runs a little warm right after installing the update, don’t panic. Temporary heating and increased power draw are expected during the optimisation phase. Once your CMF Phone 2 Pro settles in with the new firmware, things should return to normal.
How to update CMF Phone 2 Pro
Updating is simple. Just go to Settings > System > System Update. If the update hasn’t shown up yet, sit tight, it’s en route. This is one of those rare over-the-air updates that actually makes a difference, especially if you’ve been nitpicking your portraits or waiting on fixes that matter.
