The latest update brings improved visuals, and the new trailer from CD Projekt Red shows just that. It highlights a noticeably sharper Night City, with enhanced lighting, reflections, and overall fidelity that take full advantage of the upgraded hardware.

The PS5 Pro update focuses purely on technical upgrades, bringing improved graphics and smoother gameplay without adding any new content.

One of the biggest highlights is support for PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, which uses AI upscaling to deliver crisp 4K visuals while maintaining performance.

Ray tracing also gets a major boost, with enhancements to lighting, shadows, reflections, and ambient occlusion. This results in more realistic environments and a more immersive Night City experience.

Players can choose between three different modes depending on their preference. There is a Ray Tracing Pro mode for maximum visual fidelity, a Performance mode that can go up to 90fps on VRR-supported displays, and a balanced mode that blends visuals and smooth gameplay.
