More than just Copilot+ vehicles

Dell’s new Intel-powered Plus series wants to be your AI-powered everyday machine

Dell’s new Plus series takes a practical approach to the AI PC laptop trend – clean design, familiar hardware, and built-in Copilot+ features that aim to enhance everyday tasks without overcomplicating the experience. With the launch of the Dell 14 Plus, Dell 14 Plus 2-in-1, and Dell 16 Plus, the brand is offering flexibility in form factor and screen size, while keeping the internals aligned with the needs of professionals and daily users alike.

These are not headline-grabbing design overhauls. Instead, Dell is banking on consistent performance with Intel processors, slim profiles, and quiet intelligence. All three models feature the latest Copilot+ features like Live Captions, Voice Access, Cocreator, and more. You can read about these in detail below:

Now, coming back to the new Dell Plus series, here’s everything you need to know about them.

Dell 14 Plus: Specs and features

The most display-focused of the trio, the Dell 14 Plus stuns with its 14-inch IPS LCD screen that offers a 2.5K resolution, which will be noticeably sharper than the Full HD panels on its siblings. At 1.5kg and 14mm thick, it’s compact enough to carry all day without weighing you down, and the aluminium build gives it a sturdy, premium feel.

It’s also the only one of the three to stick solely with the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor, paired with integrated Intel Arc graphics. This gives it just that extra nudge in visual workloads, think light photo editing or creative work on the go.

With 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB SSD storage, it’s well-equipped for multitasking and media consumption. Powering all of this is a 64Wh battery with 65W USB-C charging, and ports include USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Like its counterparts, it comes with a Copilot key built into its backlit keyboard.

Dell 14 Plus 2-in-1: Specs and features

If flexibility is a priority, the Dell 14 Plus 2-in-1 delivers. It shares its name and much of its hardware with the standard 14 Plus, but swaps out the higher-res display for a Full HD LCD panel and introduces a 360-degree hinge that allows you to flip it into tablet mode. Despite the added mechanics, it still weighs just 1.6kg.

Buyers can choose between the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V or the more powerful Ultra 7 256V chipsets, both offering solid performance for daily tasks.

The 2-in-1 comes with 16GB RAM, up to 1TB SSD storage, and integrates Microsoft’s Copilot+ features natively. While the display is less sharp than the standard 14 Plus, the added versatility could make up for it, especially for note-takers, casual creatives, or anyone who appreciates a dual-purpose device.

Dell 16 Plus: Specs and features

For users who want more screen real estate, the Dell 16 Plus steps in with a 16-inch IPS LCD panel at Full HD resolution. It’s a subtle step up in size while still being just 14mm thick, but the weight climbs slightly to 1.86kg.

That said, it keeps the same clean aluminium chassis and familiar internals. You get the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V or 7 256V processors, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD storage.

Battery life is rated at up to 20 hours on the same 64Wh pack found across the lineup, though real-world results will vary depending on how much of your day involves video calls or browser tabs. A dedicated numpad joins the Copilot key on the keyboard, clearly aiming this model at users who live in spreadsheets or crunch data for a living.
