The DJI Mavic 4 Pro is a flying film studio in the form of a drone, with an eye for drama. Whether you’re a content creator filming a mountain ascent or a wedding cinematographer capturing that perfect aerial kiss, this drone changes the game.
Its biggest highlight is its 360-degree Infinity Gimbal that spins, tilts, and flips the camera in ways that feel more gimbal rig than drone. Vertical reels, moody Dutch angles, even upward shots from ground level, it’s all now possible without workarounds or awkward post-processing.
What makes the DJI Mavic 4 Pro special?
At the heart of this gimbal sits a powerful triple-camera setup. The main camera is a 100MP Hasselblad with a large Four Thirds sensor and a sharp 28mm lens. This means buttery bokeh in low light and detail-rich landscapes at golden hour. Complementing it is a 48MP medium telephoto (70mm), ideal for clean portrait-style shots, and a 50MP long telephoto (168mm, f/2.8), perfect for wildlife or cityscape storytelling from a distance.
The footage from all three cameras matches seamlessly, which means you can cut between a sweeping wide and a dramatic close-up without jarring colour shifts. It’s 10-bit, 4K/60fps HDR across the board, with the Hasselblad going up to 6K/60fps and 16 stops of dynamic range. Slow-motion enthusiasts get 4K/120fps on two lenses, and 4K/100fps on the long tele, which is ideal for action shots or moody water sequences.
Flight time clocks in at 51 minutes, enough for a full location shoot without multiple battery swaps. A hiker filming their summit can now ascend, shoot, and descend, all in one take. Navigation, powered by six fisheye cameras and dual processors, lets it dodge trees or buildings, even without GPS. The drone is segmented into three packages, starting at €2,100, which equates to around Rs 2,40,000. The Creator Combo? A cool €3,540, which in INR would be around Rs 4,00,000. Pricey? Yes, but for the folks who can make use of all the cool features of the drone, it might just be worth it.
