Dyson Airwrap Coanda 2x comes to supercharge your hair styling

Dyon’s Airwrap is like the Rolls Royce of hair styling, and just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the British brand has dropped a new product. Called the Airwrap Coanda 2x, this multi-styler and dryer is basically designed to do it all.

For starters, this Dyson 6-in-1 tool can be used to dry, curl, wave, straighten, smooth and volumise, all without damaging your hair. Under the hood of this sleek looking tool is Dyson’s most powerful hair-care motor – Hyperdymium 2 that spins at up to 150,000rpm. What this means for you is that your hair can be styled, wrapped and dried in super quick time.

Interestingly, you will be able to choose from two different sets when buying the Airwrap Coanda 2x – Straight + Wavy and Curly + Coily. While the hair types differ, either of the sets will come with six attachments each.

The Straight + Wavy set will come with a two 30mm Coanda curling barrels, 40mm Coanda curling barrel, Anti-snag loop brush, Round volumising brush, AirSmooth attachment and Fast dryer.

The Curly + Coily set, on the other hand, will come with two 40mm Co-anda curling barrels, 40mm Coanda curling barrel, Anti-snag loop brush, Tension comb, Wave + Curl diffuser and Fast dryer.

These attachments are RFID-enabled, which enables the Airwrap to automatically adjust to the attachments, making styling seamless. There are also sensors embedded in the product that help tailor the styling based on your hair type. Add in the compatibility with MyDyson app, and you can get salon-worthy styles with minimal effort.

Dyson Airwrap Coanda 2x prices

For now, Dyson has launched the Airwrap Coanda 2x in the UK with a price tag of £580 (approximately Rs 68,000). It is no doubt an investment, but all the features and quality of Dyson do come at a premium.

Buyers will be able to choose from two colour options – Ceramic Pink and Jasper Plum. The product will be making its way to India in the coming days or weeks, with Dyson sharing details closer to the official launch.
