Dyson brings back the original Airwrap with a simpler, cleaner approach

Dyson has announced the Airwrap Origin in India, bringing back its original multi styler in a more streamlined form. Like the original Airwrap, this one is also designed for users who want fuss free styling at home. Here’s all you need to know about the new Airwrap Origin.

What’s special about the Dyson Airwrap Origin

The Airwrap Origin features Dyson’s Digital Motor V9, which spins at up to 110,000 rpm. This powerful motor creates the air pressure needed for the Coanda effect, helping hair wrap around the 40mm barrel naturally for easy curling and shaping.

It comes with an intelligent heat control system that measures airflow temperature more than 40 times per second, ensuring it stays below 150 degrees Celsius.

This helps prevent heat damage while maintaining the hair’s natural shine. You get to choose from three airflow speeds and three heat settings, along with a Cold Shot mode to help you set different styles. The Airwrap Origin comes with three attachments. The Fast Dryer is designed for quick drying and prepping hair before styling.

The 40mm barrel creates loose, voluminous curls using enhanced airflow, while the Anti Snag Loop Brush smoothens hair and reduces pulling, making it comfortable for regular use across hair types.

The Dyson Airwrap Origin is priced at Rs 39,900 in India, and it will be available in a Nickel and Copper colour option. It can be purchased from Dyson stores across the country as well as on Dyson’s official website.
