The winters are almost here, and with the drop in temperatures comes the inevitable rise in air pollution levels. Almost on cue, Dyson has launched its latest air purifier in the country, and it is called the Purifier Cool PC1 – TP11.

As expected from a Dyson product, this new air purifier promises to capture up to 99.95 per cent of ultrafine particles as small as 0.1 microns, and its activated carbon filter can capture odours, gases, Volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and Nitrogen Dioxide.

Additionally, the onboard sensors can detect airborne pollutants, including dust and pollen (PM2.5, PM10), in real-time and adjust the air flow accordingly. There’s also a night mode, wherein the operation becomes quieter and the display dimmer. Users can also set a sleep timer (one, two, four or eight hours) for automatic shutdown.
It is also capable of delivering over 290 liters per second of airflow, which should purify the whole room in almost no time. Aiding the coverage is 350-degrees oscillation, which ensures even distribution of clean air across the room.
The Purifier Cool PC1 – TP11 is also a smart appliance and works with the MyDyson companion app. There’s support for smart assistants like Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, which should allow users to control the appliance with their voice.

The latest Dyson air purifier is priced at Rs 39,900, and buyers will be able to choose from black/nickel and white/silver colour options. It is already available on the company’s website and with its retail partners.
