Fujifilm X‑E5 mirrorless camera comes with a compact frame and classic controls

Fujifilm has officially introduced the X‑E5 mirrorless camera in India, bringing its signature photographic feel into a lighter and more portable package. The Fujifilm X‑E5 blends retro charm with modern imaging capabilities, aiming to win over street shooters and travel creators. If you are one of them, here’s everything you need to know about Fujifilm’s latest mirrorless camera.

What makes the Fujifilm X‑E5 special?

The Fujifilm X-E5 features a 40.2MP X‑Trans CMOS5 HR sensor paired with the X‑Processor 5. That gives it fast autofocus, clean high ISO performance, and rich colours. Like retro cameras, the X-E5 also has a dedicated shutter speed and exposure compensation dials, giving photographers direct control without menu diving.

The electronic viewfinder packs 3.69 million dots, and the flip display is a touchscreen that tilts up and down – ideal for tricky angles or low shots. As for the video, it supports 6.2K at 30fps and 4K at 60fps, making it useful for creators who juggle stills and motion.

In terms of build, the X‑E5 is quite durable and can withstand dust and light moisture. Despite its advanced internals, it remains light, weighing just 445 grams including battery and card. What this means is you can easily carry it with you on your trips.
