Garmin Dash Cam X series launched in India with 4K recording, smart features

Garmin has rolled out its new Dash Cam X Series in India, a four-model lineup designed to give everyday drivers a sharper, smarter view of the road. The dash cam range spans the ultra-compact Dash Cam Mini 3 to the fully loaded Dash Cam X310, with each model using Garmin’s updated Clarity HDR optics and a Clarity polariser to cut glare and improve visibility whether you’re cruising at noon or navigating dim monsoon roads.

All four cameras pair with the Garmin Drive app for clip viewing, cloud uploads, multi-camera setups and remote monitoring, making the lineup feel refreshingly modern for a category that often plays it safe. Here’s everything you need to know.

Garmin Dash Cam X series: A compact lineup with clear intent

The Dash Cam Mini 3 is the stealthiest of the lot, designed to tuck behind the rear-view mirror and stay out of sight. It records 1080p HDR footage with a wide 140-degree field of view, uses a supercapacitor instead of a battery, and supports features such as voice control and incident detection via a G sensor.

There’s no built-in GPS, but it can piggyback data from a GPS-enabled Garmin camera, and features like Parking Guard and Live View are available when paired with Garmin’s Constant Power Cable and a Garmin Vault subscription.

The Dash Cam X110 steps things up with 1440p HDR recording and a 2.41-inch colour display. It includes GPS, Galileo, voice control, incident detection and driver alerts for forward collision, lane departure and more.

With Wi-Fi connectivity, Garmin Vault cloud storage support and multi-camera syncing, it feels like a sweet spot for most buyers. Battery backup lasts about 20 minutes.

Sitting just above it, the Dash Cam X210 carries the same 1440p HDR video quality, screen size and 140-degree field of view but adds red-light and speed camera alerts where supported. Along with GPS, Galileo, lane departure warnings and overspeed alerts, it’s geared toward drivers who prefer a bit more guidance on busy city routes.

The flagship Dash Cam X310 pushes the feature set further with 1440p HDR video at up to 60fps for smoother footage. It packs the same 2.41-inch display, GPS, Galileo, voice control and incident detection while adding Live View, Parking Guard, Wi-Fi connectivity and multi-camera syncing. Like the X110, it uses a rechargeable battery with roughly 20 minutes of backup.

Garmin Dash Cam X series: Price and availability

Garmin has priced the Dash Cam Mini 3 at Rs 12,550, the Dash Cam X110 at Rs 16,990, and the Dash Cam X210 at Rs 21,990. The top-tier Dash Cam X310 comes in at Rs 27,790. The entire lineup is now available via the Garmin India online store, some e-commerce platforms, and authorised automotive accessory retailers.
