Google Pixel 10a pre-orders date, design officially revealed

Google has finally started teasing the arrival of the Pixel 10a in India. The brand has rolled out a new post on X to confirm that it will begin accepting pre-orders on February 18. The official teaser also offers the first look at the phone’s rear design.

The Google Store listing also mentions an exclusive promotional offer for Google Store email subscribers. Eligible users will receive a special code that unlocks a benefit for a future purchase when used during the Pixel 10a pre-order period.

The official teaser reveals that the Pixel 10a will arrive with a familiar design, similar to the previous generation. It features flat edges with rounded corners, while the back panel houses a horizontally aligned dual-camera setup along with an LED flash.

Google is yet to reveal any technical details of the Pixel 10a. However, recent reports suggest that it will feature a 6.285-inch FHD+ OLED display offering an FHD+ resolution and up to 2,000 nits of HDR brightness. The phone is expected to be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 processor, paired with the M2 security chip, 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Pixel 10a is likely to ship with Android 16 out of the box. Users can expect up to seven years of Android OS updates, security patches, and Feature Drop updates. The device is tipped to pack a 5,100mAh battery with support for both wired and wireless charging.

In terms of photography, the Pixel 10a is expected to feature a 13MP front-facing camera, along with a 48MP main sensor with OIS support and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. Other expected features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers.

As per rumours, the Pixel 10a could be priced similarly to the Pixel 9a, which was launched at Rs 49,999. The handset is expected to arrive in four colour options: obsidian (black), berry (possibly red), fog (white), and lavender.
