HyperOS 3 update lands on 20 more Xiaomi and Redmi devices: Check full list here

Xiaomi has quietly but steadily widened the reach of its HyperOS 3 update, adding another 20 Xiaomi and Redmi devices to the stable rollout. The latest batch covers a broad mix of smartphones, tablets, and even smart TVs, bringing Android 16 to models that span several generations.

It is another sign that Xiaomi is nearing the tail end of its HyperOS 3 deployment, following a phased release that began with newer flagships before working its way down the portfolio.

What’s new in HyperOS 3

HyperOS 3 is built on Android 16 and focuses more on refinement than reinvention. The interface has been refreshed, system animations feel smoother, and memory and app management have been tightened up for better day-to-day performance.

One of the more visible changes is HyperIsland, Xiaomi’s take on a dynamic notification and multitasking area inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island. Cross-device integration has also been improved, especially for users who bounce between Xiaomi phones, tablets, and TVs.
