Infinix GT 30 5G+ is the latest gamer-centric phone launching in India

Infinix has officially launched its latest gaming-centric smartphone in India, the GT 30 5G+. This is a unique offering, particularly thanks to its bold mecha-inspired design and dedicated gaming hardware. Let’s dive in.

A MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset under the hood and more

The headline feature is undoubtedly the set of customisable GT Shoulder Triggers. These are capacitive buttons present on the edge, and they offer tactile input for games. But can also be mapped to control your camera or media playback.

Meanwhile, the back of the phone sports a “Cyber Mecha Design 2.0” complete with customisable white LED lighting that has more than ten unique patterns. Infinix even claims the phone hits a smooth 90fps in the popular shooter BGMI, helped by a 6-layer 3D vapour chamber cooling system.

Upfront, you get a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. It boasts a fast 144Hz refresh rate and a 2,160Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate. The panel also gets bright at 4,500 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Under the bonnet, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset powers the experience. This is paired with 8GB of speedy LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of storage. For battery, you get a 5,500mAh unit with 45W fast charging.
