Infinix Note Edge launches with Dimensity 7100, 6,500mAh battery

Infinix has unveiled the Infinix Note Edge as its first major phone of the year. Priced at around Rs 22,000, this mid-range device features notable specifications such as an AMOLED screen, a new Dimensity chip, a large battery, and a capable camera setup. Here’s a look at the specifications, features, and pricing of the device.

Infinix Note Edge: Specs and features

The Infinix Note Edge has a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED screen delivering a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It promises good visibility under sunlight, as it supports up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.

The Note Edge features the all-new Dimensity 7100 chip, which promises decent performance for a mid-range offering. The only other phone currently equipped with the same chip is the Tecno Pova Curve 2, which was announced earlier this month.

Under the hood, the Note Edge houses a massive 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging support. It also supports 10W reverse charging and bypass charging, which directly passes power to the phone’s motherboard to help prevent overheating while the device is charging during intensive activities like gaming. The phone ships with XOS 16 based on Android 16 and is promised three years of OS updates and five years of security updates.

For photography, the Infinix Note Edge has a single 50MP rear camera accompanied by an RGB Halo light notification LED. On the front, it features a 13MP selfie camera. There is also a customisable One Tap AI button, which can be used to summon the Folax AI assistant or reconfigured to launch apps.

Other features of the Note Edge include JBL-powered dual speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, vapour chamber heat dissipation, and an IR blaster. On the connectivity front, the Note Edge supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB-C. In terms of durability, the phone features Gorilla Glass 7i protection for the screen and an IP65-rated dust and splash-resistant chassis.

Infinix Note Edge: Price and availability

The Infinix Note Edge has arrived in India in three variants: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. These options are priced at Rs 21,999, Rs 23,999, and Rs 25,999, respectively.
