Apple iPhones have been quite popular ever since the first iPhone. However, one con that almost every iPhone had, barring a few recent ones, was the poor battery life. But, Apple seems to have found a way to fix the battery life on all upcoming iPhones with a cool AI feature.
Apple may bring an AI-powered battery management mode in the upcoming iOS version, making quicker battery drain a thing of the past. This new battery management mode will reportedly let iPhones offer a longer battery life. Sounds good? Here’s everything you need to know.
Next iPhones may get an AI-powered battery feature
According to Bloomberg, the upcoming iOS version, which will likely be called the iOS 19, may come with an AI-powered battery management feature. This feature will lower the power draw of certain applications, which means you get a better battery life.
As of now, it’s unclear if Apple plans to increase the battery capacities on the next iPhones. However, this AI-powered battery management mode might come in handy for prioritising energy efficiency over full power.
Other than this, Apple is also said to offer a lock screen indicator that shows how long it will take to charge the iPhone fully. This is something that we already have on Android phones, and having it on iPhones will be cool. This feature will also likely use AI to detect the amount of time left for a full charge.

Similarly, Apple is expected to integrate AI in most places in iOS. We are also expected to get new Apple Intelligence features in iOS 19, and hopefully, a more ready version should be available to the users this year.
It’s still a while until we see the next iPhones. The most probable launch timeline is September, and until then, we are expected to learn more about the iPhone 17 lineup. So, stay tuned to Unboxed by Croma for more news on Apple.
