iQOO 15 is launching on this date, colour options revealed

Since last month (September), iQOO has been teasing the arrival of the iQOO 15 flagship phone in China, but it had not confirmed its launch date. Today, the brand has officially announced the launch date and rolled out new posters revealing the phone’s colour options. Additionally, the company has disclosed the names of other products that will debut alongside it.

iQOO will hold a launch event at 7pm (local time) on October 20 in China to unveil the iQOO 15. This event will also see the debut of three more products: the iQOO Pad 5e tablet, iQOO Watch GT 2, and iQOO TWS 5 earbuds. While iQOO has not specified it today, it is also expected to unveil an affordable flagship phone called the Neo 11 on the same day.

The newly released posters confirm that the iQOO 15 will be available in Crimson Red (with a colour-shifting back), Legend Edition (white), Wilderness (green), and Racing Edition (black).

iQOO 15: What to expect?

What’s exciting about the iQOO 15 is that it will be one of the first smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset to arrive in the Indian market. This powerful new chip can reportedly achieve over 4 million points on AnTuTu, ensuring superior all-round performance, especially during gaming sessions. The phone will also include a dedicated Q3 gaming chip to deliver stutter-free graphics during extended gameplay.

Apart from its flagship processor, the iQOO 15 is confirmed to feature a 6.85-inch Samsung AMOLED 144Hz display with 2K resolution support. It is expected to house a massive 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support. For photography, it will sport a triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup, including a periscope telephoto lens for enhanced optical zoom.

iQOO 15 India launch date

The India launch of the iQOO 15 is also not far away, as the brand has already begun teasing its arrival in the country. Rumours suggest that it could debut in November in India. However, it is unclear whether the iQOO Neo 11, Pad 5e, Watch GT 2, and TWS 5 will also launch in the Indian market.
