Vivo’s OriginOS 6 is set to launch globally soon, and it’s also expected to arrive in India. Ahead of its launch, Vivo has begun teasing the special features of the OS. Notably, OriginOS 6 may replace Funtouch OS and offer a smarter, better, and intuitive experience.

Vivo has now revealed the new AI-powered dynamic island in OriginOS 6, and it appears to be smarter than iPhone’s Dynamic Island. Here’s all you need to know.

All about the new AI-powered island in OriginOS 6

Unlike Dynamic Island, the island in OriginOS 6 offers intuitive actions based on the app. So, if you are in the Gallery app, and press and hold a photo and move it a bit, you should see related intuitive actions on the island.

As you’d expect, this island stays persistent at the top, and shows about four actions based on the app or activity. For photos, it should show a tray of apps, including a note-taking app, a social app, and more. Similarly, for other activities, you may see different actions on the island.

Now, that’s a cool feature to have, as the island doesn’t just help with multitasking, but also makes you a bit more productive. And of course, it ups your convenience to use the device.  Notably, this feature is part of OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. Vivo will launch the new skin on October 10 in China and on October 15 in global markets.
