Lava just dropped its latest budget contender, the Blaze AMOLED 2, packing a 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display at a price you don’t usually expect these days – Rs 13,499. Let’s check out everything else it has to offer.
That AMOLED display is the biggest highlight here
The screen is the main event. Lava has fitted the Blaze AMOLED 2 with a 16.94cm (6.67-inch) Full HD+ AMOLED panel. This means you get those deep, inky blacks and vibrant colours that make everything pop. The 120Hz refresh rate promises silky-smooth scrolling and a more responsive feel in games and apps.
All this tech is housed in a super slim 7.55mm frame featuring what the company calls its Linea design. The phone will be available in two distinct finishes, Midnight Black and Feather White.
The phone’s engine room is not messing around either. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, a processor that boasts an AnTuTu score north of 500,000.

To back it up, Lava included 6GB of fast LPDDR5 RAM which can be virtually expanded by another 6GB. Storage is 128GB of UFS 3.1, which should ensure quick app load times and speedy file transfers.
Lava also shines a spotlight on photography with a 50MP rear camera that uses a Sony IMX752 sensor. An 8MP front-facing camera handles the selfies.
Keeping the lights on is a hefty 5000mAh battery supported by 33W fast charging through a Type-C port. Lava promises that the device runs a clean, ad-free version of Android 15. It also promises one major Android OS upgrade and two years of security updates. For security, you even get an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Blaze AMOLED 2 will be available for sale online and across Lava’s retail network starting August 16th.
