Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus is a stylish, AI-smart powerhouse that wants to redefine the Android tablet

Lenovo has just launched the Yoga Tab Plus in India, its first Android tablet powered by on-device AI. This isn’t your average entertainment slate; it’s part productivity hub, part creativity companion, and fully future-ready.

With its AI assistant running locally (read: no cloud, no delay), a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip under the hood, and a striking 3K display, the Yoga Tab Plus is aiming to be the Android tablet for people who need more than just Netflix.

And yes, it comes bundled with a precision stylus and keyboard; no extra purchases required. Here’s everything you should know if you’re scouring the market for a capable tablet.

Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus: All you need to know

At the core of the Yoga Tab Plus is Lenovo AI Now, the brand’s first on-device personal assistant. It runs large language models with up to 8 billion parameters – think AI-generated summaries, voice-to-note conversion, and smart prompts, all happening on the tablet itself, no internet required.

The chip doing the heavy lifting is Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, paired with Qualcomm’s Hexagon NPU to handle up to 20 TOPS of AI performance. You also get up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, putting this tablet squarely in flagship territory, even though it employs last year’s flagship chipset. Another bonus is that it integrates neatly with Google Gemini for voice and stylus-first interaction.

Up front, you get a 12.7-inch 3K LTPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 900 nits brightness, and 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut support. This screen is protected by Gorilla Glass with an anti-reflective coating. So, whether you’re sketching, bingeing, or video calling, it’s built to look sharp.

Audio gets an upgrade too. The tablet houses six Harman Kardon-tuned speakers (four woofers, two tweeters) that deliver full-spectrum Dolby Atmos sound, and the Tidal Teal aluminium body packs a kickstand that lets you prop the tablet in stand, tilt, or hang mode.

The tablet includes the Lenovo Tab Pen Pro with haptic feedback, tilt detection, and 8192 levels of pressure, plus a 2-in-1 keyboard with trackpad and a dedicated AI key.

Throw in Wi-Fi 7, Face Unlock, a fingerprint sensor, and Smart Connect features like clipboard sharing across devices, and the Yoga Tab Plus makes a strong case for replacing both your tablet and your laptop on the go.
