Lenovo has just launched its new Yoga Tab Plus tablet in India and it’s the company’s very first Android slate to pack dedicated AI smarts right on the device. The device aims to blend productivity and entertainment with that. Read on to find out how it does so.
High-end tablet with high-end features
These AI smarts go with the name ‘Lenovo AI Now,’ which is essentially a personal AI agent running on large language models that work directly on the tablet. In other words, the software can perform context-aware tasks without using the internet.
These tasks include content summaries, voice-to-note transcriptions, and smart content organisation, all while keeping your data private. It also plays nice with Google Gemini for voice and stylus commands.

Powering the tablet is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, paired with a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU that delivers 20 TOPS of AI performance. This can be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
As for the display, you get a 12.7-inch 3K LTPS PureSight Pro display. It boasts a 144Hz refresh rate, a 900 nits peak brightness, and covers the full DCI-P3 colour gamut. An anti-reflection coating and TÜV low blue light certification should make long binge-watching or creative sessions more comfortable.
You also get a six-speaker array tuned by Harman Kardon provides the audio punch with Dolby Atmos support.
True to its Yoga heritage, the tablet rocks that signature built-in stainless-steel kickstand, allowing for stand, tilt, and even hang modes. The whole device is also built from aluminium alloy and weighs around 640 grams. The battery is sized 10,200mAh and juices up at 45W.
Lenovo also throws its Tab Pen Pro and a 2-in-1 keyboard pack in the box, making it a versatile creative and productivity machine right from the get-go. The Yoga Tab Plus is available now, starting at Rs 49,999.
