LG has announced the UltraGear evo gaming monitor series ahead of its CES 2026 debut. The lineup includes three flagship offerings, namely the 39GX950B, 27GM950B, and 52G930B.
These monitors are designed to deliver high-resolution gaming experiences and are equipped with the world’s first 5K AI upscaling technology. Here’s a closer look at LG’s new premium gaming monitors.
39-inch 5K2K OLED gaming monitor with AI upscaling
The 39-inch UltraGear evo GX9 is a 5K2K OLED gaming monitor designed for immersive play and creative work. An on-device AI engine enhances visuals in real time, delivering near-5K clarity without placing extra load on the GPU, while AI-based scene and sound optimisation improve overall immersion.
It is equipped with primary RGB Tandem OLED technology, which boosts brightness, colour accuracy, and panel lifespan. A Dual Mode setup lets users switch between 165Hz at 5K2K or 330Hz refresh rates at a lower resolution, supported by an ultra-fast 0.03ms response time on a curved 21:9 ultrawide display.
27-inch 5K MiniLED gaming monitor
The 27-inch UltraGear evo GM9 is the world’s first 5K MiniLED gaming monitor focused on reducing blooming. With over 2,300 local dimming zones and refined optical engineering, it delivers precise highlights and controlled contrast.
It also includes on-device AI upscaling and Dual Mode, offering 165Hz at 5K or 330Hz at QHD, alongside high peak brightness and HDR support.
52-inch 5K2K 240Hz gaming monitor
The 52-inch UltraGear evo G9 is the largest 5K2K gaming monitor to date, pairing an expansive ultrawide form factor with a 240Hz refresh rate. Its wide panoramic layout and deep curve enhance immersion, while HDR support ensures vivid colours and strong contrast across large scenes.
LG UltraGear evo lineup to be showcased CES 2026
All three LG UltraGear evo monitors will be showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, US. In addition, the company will also present the UltraGear GX7 (27GX790B), a 27-inch gaming monitor featuring a QHD OLED screen, a 540Hz refresh rate, and Dual Mode support offering up to 720Hz at HD resolution.
