LG has revealed its latest premium television at CES 2026 with the introduction of the OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV. The new model is the latest iteration of LG’s ultra-thin Wallpaper concept, refreshed with wireless connectivity and updated picture technologies. Continue reading for more details about it.
LG Wallpaper TV has a thickness of only 9mm
The LG OLED evo W6 has been designed to sit flush against the wall, measuring just 9mm in thickness. This has been achieved through a reworked internal layout and a refined wall-mounting system that allows the panel to blend seamlessly into living spaces.
All external connections are handled by a separate Zero Connect Box, which can be placed up to 10 metres away, leaving only a power cable connected to the screen. It comes with Hyper Radiant Color Technology, which improves brightness, colour accuracy, and black levels while also reducing screen reflections.
LG claims the panel can reach up to 3.9 times higher brightness than conventional OLED displays, supported by Brightness Booster Ultra. The screen has also received a reflection-free premium certification from Intertek, aiming to maintain contrast even in well-lit rooms.
The LG OLED evo W6 is powered by the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen 3, which uses a more capable neural processing unit to balance noise reduction and detail retention. Gaming support includes 4K resolution at up to 165Hz, variable refresh rate compatibility, and ultra-fast pixel response, making the W6 suitable for high-end console and PC gaming.
The company is also highlighting software-driven features such as Gallery+, which turns the screen into a digital canvas with thousands of artworks and personal images. The webOS platform adds voice-based user recognition, AI-powered search tools, and enhanced security features under LG Shield.
LG Wallpaper TV: Price and availability
The OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV will be offered in 77-inch and 83-inch sizes, with pricing and availability expected to be announced later.
