LG’s 2025 OLED evo and QNED evo TVs launch with sharper visuals, better sound, and a personal touch

LG has just dropped its 2025 range of OLED evo and QNED evo TVs in India, and they’re looking smarter, sleeker, and more tailored to your habits than ever before. Packed with upgraded picture and audio tech, these LG TVs are designed to feel less like a screen in your living room and more like a companion that knows what you like to watch and how you like to watch it. Intrigued? Here’s everything you need to know, from their specs and features to prices and availability.

LG OLED evo and QNED evo TVs 2025: All you need to know

At the heart of it all is LG’s new Alpha Processor Gen2, which powers everything from better upscaling and colour control to smoother navigation and sharper sound. You’ll also get a new version of the Magic Remote, now with a dedicated button for voice controls. But the standout features are the little details, like a TV that greets you by name when it’s turned on and switches user profiles automatically depending on who’s speaking.

The interface has been cleaned up with a new version of webOS, giving you quicker access to your favourite apps and content. LG’s new TVs can also cast easily from both Apple and Android devices, thanks to built-in support for AirPlay and Google Cast.

The OLED evo series now comes with LG’s latest Brightness Booster Ultimate tech, which adjusts the screen brightness depending on the room you’re in, so you’re never stuck squinting through a dark scene. Support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Dolby Atmos is onboard too, delivering the kind of cinema-level experience that doesn’t feel overdone.

The new Alpha 11 chip should do a solid job enhancing older or lower-resolution content, and it keeps HDR looking consistent with tone mapping that works scene by scene. There’s also an updated Filmmaker Mode that adapts to the lighting in your room so that what you’re watching looks exactly how it was meant to.

Audio gets a boost as well. The OLED evo TVs now feature virtual 11.1.2 surround sound with clear voice separation, so dialogue cuts through cleanly even when the background score is booming.

As for the QNED evo lineup, you get a mix of Mini LED tech and refined colour accuracy, along with virtual 9.1.2 surround sound and sound tuning based on where you’re sitting. In short, both lines are clearly designed to adapt to you, not the other way around.

Gamers, take note. The OLED evo range supports up to 4K at 165Hz, with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium built-in. There’s also a Game Optimiser menu that lets you tweak settings for different genres without digging through menus.
