The smartphone industry is witnessing a growing trend toward ultra-slim design segment. This year, the Galaxy S25 Edge kicked things off with a 5.8mm slim body, followed by Tecno’s Pova Slim at 5.95mm thickness. More recently, Apple introduced the iPhone Air, featuring an impressive 5.6mm profile. Now, Motorola is ready to join the competition with its upcoming Edge 70, touted as the slimmest Motorola smartphone ever.
Motorola Edge 70 launch date revealed
Motorola Poland has launched a landing page for the Motorola Edge 70 on its official website, confirming the device will debut in the country on November 5. The page will be updated with more details about the Edge 70 as the launch date approaches.
Currently, it confirms that the phone will feature a 4,800mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. To achieve a thinner design without compromising battery life, Motorola is using a silicon-carbon battery, known for its higher energy density. The device is expected to be priced between €710 (~Rs 73,220) and €810 (~Rs 83,530) in Europe.
Motorola Edge 70 expected specifications
According to rumours, the Motorola Edge 70 will feature a 5.99mm ultra-thin body. One of its colour variants, Bronze Green, has already appeared in the teaser.
The Edge 70 is rumoured to come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Its rear camera setup will reportedly feature a 50-megapixel main sensor. For audiophiles, the device is expected to include Dolby Atmos-powered dual speakers for an immersive sound experience.

In related news, Motorola is also preparing to launch the Moto X70 Air smartphone in China by the end of this month, which is expected to be a rebranded version of the Edge 70.
