Motorola has officially entered the laptop space, and it’s chosen India as the stage for this debut. The newly launched Moto Book 60 marks the brand’s global foray into laptops, arriving alongside the Moto Pad 60 Pro tablet. Both devices are designed to push Motorola’s connected ecosystem ambitions, with seamless cross-device functionality through a new feature called Smart Connect.

It’s a logical expansion for the brand that’s been doubling down on AI smartphones. The brand is now looking to offer a complete digital lifestyle experience, tying your phone, tablet, and laptop together in one cohesive loop.
Moto Book 60: Specifications and features
True to Motorola’s recent design sensibilities, the Moto Book 60 doesn’t shy away from standing out. It comes in two Pantone-curated colours – Wedgewood and Bronze Green – that look more fashion-forward than your typical tech grey or black.
The all-metal chassis is sleek yet tough, offering military-grade durability at a featherlight 1.39 kg. The laptop features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a peak brightness of 500 nits, making it ideal for both work and entertainment in varied lighting conditions. It houses stereo speakers paired with Dolby Atmos support. It’s clear Motorola is attempting to make a mark in the laptop space, which should be relatively simple given that it is a subsidiary of Lenovo, which has deep roots in the laptop arena.
Under the hood, the Moto Book 60 is powered by the latest Intel Core 5 and Core 7 processors, with 16GB of RAM across all variants. Depending on your storage needs, you can opt for either a 512 GB or 1 TB SSD. Motorola’s pitch here isn’t just about raw specs; it’s the ecosystem integration that sets this laptop apart.
Smart Connect allows the Moto Book 60 to become the hub of your personal tech setup, letting you copy-paste across devices with Smart Clipboard, transfer files in a snap, and use simple gestures to share content between your Moto phone, tablet, or even your TV.
A 60Wh battery powers the Moto Book 60, which Motorola claims is enough to last through a full workday without reaching for the charger. When you do plug in, the bundled 65W charger promises quick top-ups.
Moto Pad 60 Pro: Specifications and features
Launching alongside the laptop is the Moto Pad 60 Pro, a premium tablet aimed at creators, students, and multitaskers. It features a generous 12.7-inch 3K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, designed to handle both entertainment and productivity with ease.

The quad-speaker system by JBL, enhanced with Dolby Atmos, promises a rich audio experience, and the device’s 10,200mAh battery ensures it keeps up with your day. Like the laptop, the tablet supports Smart Connect and works seamlessly with Motorola’s Moto Pen Pro for note-taking or sketching. The entire setup is tied together by a Pantone Bronze Green finish that gives it a familiar Motorola-look.
Moto Book 60 and Moto Pad 60 Pro: Price and availability
Motorola has priced the Moto Book 60 competitively considering the feature set. The Intel Core i5 model with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage will retail for Rs 66,990, but early buyers can grab it at a special launch price of Rs 61,999. The Intel Core i7 variant with the same storage comes in at Rs 74,990 (Rs 69,999 after offers), while the top-end Core i7 + 1TB combo is priced at Rs 78,990, or Rs 73,999 under the launch deal.
The Moto Pad 60 Pro is also well-positioned for its segment. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 26,999, while the 12GB + 256 GB version is only slightly higher at Rs 28,999. Both devices go on sale from April 23 online on Motorola.in and in retail stores. Expect standard no-cost EMI options and card discounts to be in play at launch.
