Motorola Razr 2025 goes full glam with Swarovski-styled Brilliant Collection

Motorola is no stranger to statement pieces. The brand has flirted with fashion for decades; remember the gold Razr V3i with Dolce & Gabbana or the Paris Hilton-fronted hot pink edition from last year? Now, the company is back at it, giving the new Razr 2025 a bedazzled makeover with a shimmering collaboration that leans hard into glitz, but stops just short of luxury sticker shock.

Motorola Swarovski Brilliant Collection announced with Moto Razr on the helm

Meet the Brilliant Collection, a limited-edition Motorola Razr 2025 adorned with genuine Swarovski crystals, wrapped in Pantone’s icy-blue “Ice Melt” finish, and paired with a matching set of Moto Buds Loop earbuds. Together, they form Motorola’s most fashion-forward bundle yet, and it’ll be available in the US this week for $999.99 (approx. Rs 87,749).

Unlike typical collabs that often feel like a branding exercise in excess, Motorola is keeping things (relatively) grounded. The Brilliant Collection builds off the more affordable base Razr model (the one powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300X) rather than the pricier Razr+ flagship (known as Razr 60 Ultra in India). That strategic move keeps the glam accessible, with the core flip experience intact and a few couture flourishes on top.

And the phone isn’t just a slab of tech dipped in sparkle. There’s a tactile sophistication to it. The bottom half features a leather-like texture sculpted into a 3D lattice, and over 30 Swarovski crystals are embedded precisely where the ridges meet.

Three more glint from the front face, while a multifaceted crystal with 26 cuts sits flush on the hinge, catching light every time you flip it open.

Matching crystal-styled earbuds and bundled custom crossbody

Also, in on the glow-up are the Moto Buds Loop, Motorola’s open-fit earbuds with Bose-tuned sound, now launching in a matching “Ice Melt” shade. The loop section, which gives these buds their unique open silhouette, is now dotted with Swarovskis too.

Completing the package is a custom crossbody bag, designed to house the Razr in style. It’s part of a broader shift Motorola seems to be embracing; one where phones aren’t just productivity tools, but curated expressions of lifestyle.

A conscious pick of the mid-range Razr

There’s a bit of pragmatism hidden behind all the polish. Instead of building this edition off the Razr Plus, Motorola’s flagship flip phone with the larger cover screen, the brand opted for the base model powered by the Dimensity 7300X chipset.

At $599.99 (approx. Rs 52,640) for the regular edition, it’s a capable, if mid-range, device. But in this form, it becomes a value proposition – both a fashion piece and a fully functional flip phone, now bundled with designer earbuds and limited-edition packaging.

Motorola says the Brilliant Collection will be available in limited quantities starting August 7. No word yet on how limited. But this doesn’t seem to be a one-off play. The company hints at more such “curated collections” in the future. If that means more Pantone-perfect devices, premium finishes, or unexpected collabs, consider us interested.
