Motorola just refreshed its Razr foldables for the year 2025. The Moto Razr 60 Ultra and Moto Razr 60 have launched in the global markets with improvements across the board.

While the Razr 60 can be seen as more of an iterative upgrade, the Razr 60 Ultra has been given the full flagship treatment with a powerful new processor, improved display resolution and brightness, and a larger silicon carbon battery. Motorola Razr 60 Ultra: Everything you need to know

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is the star of the show with upgrades in nearly every key area. The phone gets a slightly larger 7-inch inner display with an improved resolution of 1224 x 2912 pixels and a whopping 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The inner display is an LTPO AMOLED 12-bit colour panel with 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support.

The outer display retains the same 4-inch size as its predecessor – the Razr 50 Ultra. It is an FHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with the same 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support, and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Gorilla Glass Ceramic covers the display, protecting it from scratches and accidental drops.

Motorola has used the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor on this phone which is paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It comes with Android 15 out of the box. As for cameras, you get a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide shooter, which replaces the telephoto camera from the previous generation model. The front houses a 50MP selfie camera.

The phone is 15.69mm when closed and weighs 189g, making it lightweight enough for everyday use. The IP rating has improved to IP48; Motorola has added dust resistance to the fray, making it more robust against everyday elements. As for the battery, it has been bumped up to a whopping 4,700mAh with support for faster 68W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.

The phone comes with an array of AI features like Moto AI prompts, Catch Me Up, Pay Attention, and Remember This. There’s also a new dedicated AI key that provides users with quick access to Moto AI features. When the phone is set to stand or tent mode, you can go hands-free and enable something Moto calls “Look and Talk” which allows you to converse with Moto AI by asking questions, requesting a summary of notifications or transcriptions of conversations.

Motorola Razr 60: Everything you need to know

The Motorola Razr 60 is powered by the Dimensity 7400X processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It houses a 4,500mAh silicon carbon battery with 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

The phone has a 6.96-inch inner pOLED LTPO display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of brightness. It also comes with a 3.63-inch outer pOLED 90Hz LTPS display with 1,700 nits of brightness.

For optics, it comes with a 50MP primary shooter with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide camera, alongside a 32MP selfie shooter. It has an IPX8 water resistance rating and a leather back panel with an aluminium frame.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra and Razr 60: Price and availability

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra comes in Rio Red, Scarab, Mountain Trail and Cabaret colourways. There’s a wooden finish variant which looks very slick. The Razr 60 Ultra is priced at USD 1,300 (Rs 1,10,870 approximately) in the US and 1,100 GBP (Rs 1,24,935 approximately) in the UK.

The Razr 60, on the other hand, is available in Gibraltar Sea, Spring Bud, Lightest Sky, and Parfait Pink colourways. It is priced at $700 (Rs 59,700 approximately) in the US and 800 GBP (Rs 90,880 approximately) in the UK. The India availability and prices are still unknown but you can check out the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6, which is a great alternative.
