Nothing held an event today to unveil the Phone (4a) series. Alongside, the London-based brand also launched the Headphone (a). For those unaware, Nothing’s (a) series products are toned-down versions of its flagship devices. In case of the latest audio offering, it follows the premium Headphone (1) that was released last July.
Nothing Headphone (a) specs and features
The Nothing Headphone (a) borrows the same design from the Headphone (1) except the transparent aesthetic on the outer shell. It has breathable memory foam cushions for a comfortable usage experience during extended sessions.
There’s a roller, paddle, and button for controlling music playback and switching ANC modes. The brand has also added the ability to use the button as a remote trigger for the camera shutter. The headphones are IP52-rated dust and water-resistant.
Audio-wise, the Nothing Headphone (a) is equipped with a 40mm RF drivers. There’s hybrid active noise cancellation up to 40dB and a transparency mode that lets users hear outside noise. The headphones support LDAC, as well as, hi-res audio. The latest audio offering features three microphones and ENC for crystal-clear quality on calls. The Spatial Audio technology offers in immersive surround-sound like experience.

The audio device uses AI-based noise-reduction algorithm and come with an 8-band equalizer. The Nothing Headphone (a) are touted to deliver 135 hours of music playback with ANC disabled and up to 75 hours with the feature turned on with its 1,060mAh battery cell.
Nothing Headphone (a) pricing and availability
The Nothing Headphone (a) comes in Black, White, and Pink colours, with the Yellow shade a limited edition variant. It costs $199 (roughly Rs 18,231) with pre-orders starting today and sales commencing March 13.
