After months of speculation, London-based tech brand Nothing has officially confirmed the launch date of its much-anticipated flagship – the Nothing Phone (3). Earlier teasers hinted at a July debut, but there was no clarity on an official date. Now, the company has announced a concrete launch date via a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Along with confirming the launch timeline, the announcement also unveiled a major design shift that marks the end of Nothing’s iconic Glyph interface. As previously teased, Nothing is moving away from the Glyph lights and introducing a bold new Dot Matrix design language.
Nothing Phone (3) launch date and design revealed
The Nothing Phone (3) is set to launch on July 1, 2025, at 6 PM BST (10:30 PM IST). Pre-orders are expected to open shortly after the launch, with sales likely to follow within days.
The company’s post also introduced a quirky dot matrix display, which seems poised to replace the Glyph lighting system for visual notifications.
Though the teaser likely shows a rectangular matrix, the exact positioning of the new interface on the rear panel remains under wraps. This design could be significantly more customisable, potentially allowing users to display custom animations or information on the back of the phone.
Nothing Phone (3): Price bump and premium ambitions
Unlike its predecessors that straddled the mid-range and premium segments, the Phone (3) is gunning straight for the flagship league. Nothing CEO Carl Pei recently hinted that the new model could be priced at around GBP 800, which translates to roughly Rs 90,000.
