Nothing isn’t quite finished with its 3a lineup. After launching the Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro earlier this year, the London-based startup is reportedly working on a new addition called the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite. The scoop comes from XpertPick, citing reliable tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, who claims the brand will introduce a single 8GB + 128GB configuration, dressed in the familiar Black and White finishes.
The lighter moniker hints at a trimmed-down price tag, likely slotting beneath the Rs 23,999 Nothing Phone (3a). Though the pricing remains unconfirmed, industry watchers expect the Lite variant to hover around the sub-Rs 20,000 mark if Nothing aims to court India’s fiercely competitive mid-range segment.
Global availability, including an Indian launch, is expected later this year. At present, no further specifications have leaked, though regional variations in storage or colour aren’t off the table.
What to expect from the Nothing “Lite” experience
If Nothing follows its usual playbook, the Phone (3a) Lite should borrow much of its DNA from the standard 3a, just with a few corners shaved to justify its lighter tag. For context, the regular 3a sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 50W charging.
Its camera array is equally ambitious for the segment: a 32MP front sensor and a 50MP +8 MP (ultra-wide) + 50MP (telephoto) setup at the back. Running on Nothing OS based on Android 15, the phone is guaranteed updates up to Android 18, an increasingly rare promise in mid-tier Androids.

The Lite could retain the brand’s signature Glyph Interface and clean software approach while shedding some premium flourishes, perhaps a lower-tier processor or simplified camera setup, to hit that sweet-spot price.
With Nothing steadily refining its minimalist ethos, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite may well be its most accessible gateway yet into the brand’s design-forward universe.
