One UI 7: Which devices are eligible for the update?
The One UI 7 beta program is rolling out in phases, with Samsung’s latest foldables leading the charge. Starting March 6, owners of the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 in India, Korea, the UK, and the US can sign up through the Samsung Members app to experience the new interface.

Later this month, the beta program will expand to include last year’s flagship Galaxy S23 series (including the S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra), the new Tab S10 series tablets, and even the mid-range Galaxy A55 smartphone.
This wider rollout is a part of Samsung’s larger initiative to bring AI features beyond just premium devices. According to Samsung, the official stable update of One UI 7 is expected to land for eligible devices sometime in April, which will bring in the redesigned experience and AI enhancements to millions of other Galaxy users worldwide.
One UI 7: Top Features to look out for
Samsung’s One UI 7 beta brings a refreshed experience with the new ‘Now Bar’ on the lock screen for quick access to timers, music, and activity data. While the home screen maintains its familiar layout, it features more minimal, customisable icons and widgets. The camera app has been redesigned for easier access to controls, with simplified Pro shooting modes and improved zoom functionality.
On the AI front, One UI 7 introduces enhanced Chat Assist with writing tools that can summarise text, check grammar, and organise content into bullet points, plus automatic call transcription in 20 languages. Security gets a boost with the Knox Matrix dashboard that monitors all your Samsung devices and provides actionable recommendations when issues arise. The update also adds convenient data recovery from Samsung Cloud and passkey login support through Knox Matrix’s Credential Sync.
