OnePlus has dropped the first teaser for its upcoming OnePlus 15, giving us a taste of what the next-gen flagship will bring. The teaser doesn’t show the full device but confirms the new back design and hints at a global rollout timeline. Here’s all you need to know.
Everything you need to know about the OnePlus 15
The teaser frames the OnePlus 15 in elegant closeups, confirming an improved design on the rear. While the design gets an improvement, it isn’t exactly an overhaul. Rather, it borrows the design aesthetics from the OnePlus 13s.
The new design ditches the circular camera island for a squarish design. The new camera island holds triple cameras and a new LED flash unit. We also get to see the new colour options, which OnePlus calls the Sand Storm finish.
OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will be the first to incorporate aerospace-grade Micro-Arc Oxidation (MAO) on its middle frame and module. This process makes the frame robust and durable, as compared to the standard aluminium frame.
Apart from this, OnePlus hasn’t revealed any specifics when it comes to its features. But recently, it confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will be powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It will be paired with a new cooling system for better thermals.

Expect Android 16 OS out of the box with OxygenOS on top. We also expect it to pack a larger battery with support for 100W or better fast charging.
While OnePlus hasn’t confirmed it yet, the launch of the OnePlus 15 appears to happen sometime later this year.
