OnePlus 15R 5G is Rs 10,000 off in this Croma Republic Day deal

Croma’s Republic Day Sale is in full swing, and there’s a pretty solid deal on the OnePlus 15R 5G. This handset is one of those “flagship killer” devices and it normally retails for Rs 54,999. But right now, as part of this sale, you can grab it for Rs 44,999, which is a whole Rs 10,000 off.

How to get the deal

The OnePlus 15R is listed for Rs 47,999 currently, which is already about Rs 7,000 off of the MRP. But two separate bank offers can take that even lower.

The first gives you Rs 3,000 off instantly when you use an HDFC or Axis Bank credit card with six months of no-cost EMI. That’s the better option if you’re planning to spread out payments anyway. Apply it and the phone will be yours for Rs 44,999.

The second offer is a flat Rs 2,000 instant discount on HDFC Bank credit cards without the EMI requirement. Both discounts get applied automatically on the payment page after you click through to pay.

Why the OnePlus 15R is worth it

The OnePlus 15R 5G packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor – that’s the latest chip in Qualcomm’s lineup – paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For context, this is the same silicon you’d find in phones costing significantly more. The 6.83-inch display runs at 165Hz with 1800 nits of peak brightness, so scrolling feels buttery and outdoor visibility shouldn’t be a problem.

But perhaps the battery life is the most interesting bit. OnePlus has stuffed a 7400mAh cell into this thing, which is genuinely huge for a smartphone. In our review it lasted for nearly 2 days. And when you do need to top up, 80W SUPERVOOC charging gets you from empty to 50% in roughly 23 minutes.

The camera setup uses a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor on the back alongside an 8MP ultrawide, while the front gets a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls. You also get IP69K water and dust resistance, which means this can handle pretty much anything you throw at it. At Rs 47,999, that’s a lot of phone for the money.
